ABOUT ME

Greetings!

My name is Raven Halle and I am a junior pursuing a degree in creative writing at Florida State University. I am a queer writer of poetry with hopes of creating further works in other realms & genres of writing. In the year since I have begun writing, I have had seven poems published in various literary journals, including A Velvet Giant and Rose Quartz.

I feel an infinite gratitude for both the mysticality of the creative process and the written word, and I am looking forward to unearthing the ineffable.

ABOUT MY BLOG

The main goal of my blog is to foster genuine connections between myself, readers, characters within the literature we read, and other works of art that are not necessarily pieces of writing. Uncovering and understanding how life imitates art and vice-versa is extremely fulfilling, and in doing so, the mundanities of the human condition transform into something beautiful. In this, I also aim to give voice to writers who have spent too long in silence, because their stories are often the stories which are most worth telling.
